Awesome food! Super clean!

New owner. Very good. Had BLT that had about 1/2 lb. of good bacon. Buttermilk batter onion rings were excellent.

Great little diner with friendly staff and wonderfully delicious down home cooking.

Very clean and the waitress was very nice.

I apologize, I had not anything to eat. I can only comment on the people, which were nice. I have it under advisement from the local librarian that the mushroom cheeseburger is not to be missed

Excellent food, excellent service! My husband and I drove out after church and it was well worth it. The servers were attentive and speedy. Food was absolutely amazing and well worth the price. I had the chicken fried chicken plate and my husband had the chicken fried steak special. Both were crispy with creamy gravy that was peppered just right. Will definitely return in the future!

Huge and delicious mushroom and Swiss burgers., That's all I know about the food, the staff was quick and very friendly. Recommended.

Breakfast on Sunday was a child's portion with only one slice of toast. Then saw the new owner open a new bottle of maple syrup using his teeth to remove seal and put top back on then left on the table. Our waitress was very good.

We were unsure if we seat ourselves or needed to be seated so we stood in the doorway for a few minutes until we were told to sit wherever. The server was very nice and attentive to us and other patrons. The food was very good and there were nice options. I got the berry pie and it was great!

We stopped by in between basketball games and was very pleased. Great food and service even when getting about 30 people at one time. Definitely recommend.

Small town eatin. Food was not bad and not amazing. It was all good enough. We had chicken fried chicken and 3 burgers, fries, onion rings, fried okra and potato ribbons, like think fries in a ribbon. Okra was great, fries were good but soft, not crispy and onion rings were good. Burgers were somewhat plain, but were not bad. Same for the fried chicken. Portions were good sized. Soft drinks get one free refill. Staff was friendly but it seemed evident that we were not from around there. If you're eating in Florence, enjoy.

Lunch sandwich of turkey, avacado,lettuce & tomato on roll excellent. You do have to pay extra for side (chips, French fries, onion rings etc.)

the totally awesome small-town experience. Reminds me of the little town I moved here from in Kansas. The food was superb. The customers friendly. The service was excellent. I loved it. We will be back. The steak was amazing by the way.

Wonderful! I doubt you'll regret it. Closed Mondays.As of today January 12th, 2019 they are open and we're only closed for a couple of days. We are going back! Yay!

It was our first time here me my husband our 5 grandchildren and 2 of there friends. The food is amazing very large portions and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

I had the Rodeo burger, it was incredible.

Came here on a whim and I'm so glad I did. Cute country decor and huge portions. Everything was seasoned perfectly and was fresh and amazing. Even the simple garden salad was flavorful. But the best part was our waitress Alyssa who really made for an enjoyable experience. Can't wait to come and try the pancakes

Food was good but service was ok. Maybe his first day but very lost.

Maybe Someone was having a Bad day . I asked for a Salad with chicken strips , ranch Dressing.. I got a Salad with Chicken Salad dressing on top of My salad. No Croutons or Crackers . Asked for Fried Pickles didnt get them until our Dinner was brought out no Sauce dip. Husband Ordered a Cheese Burger and Onion Rings. Cheeseburger was Good , but Onion Rings came out Cold .. We Definately Will Not be Back. Felt Sorry for our Server gave him a Small Tip !!

Big plates and food. Great tasting chicken fried steak. Home made fries and ribbon fries was really good. Avacado Swiss and turkey was really fresh.

Half way point between myself and a first date. It went well. We stay in touch but ultimately too much distance. We'll always have this diner to remind ourselves of our potential romance. :P

Drove to Florence to eat here but it was closed with a sign that said they were serving their last meal after graduation the day before. We didn't know if that meant they were out of business but were told later they are still in business. We went 2 doors down to La Fuente and ate there instead. It was delicious.

Nice little diner with a very pleasant staff. They have a sign that says, Kiss the Cook but I don't think you really have to. Hamburgers are huge and very good. Plan on going again.

Food is always good. Service is slow. But it's worth the wait.

Food and staff are excellent. Like to go once a week and have never been disappointed. Try the ribbon fries they are the best.

We noticed this place as we were heading to the PX at Fort Hood and decided to try it on the way home. Excellent food! Typical small town diner atmosphere but absolutely great food! The onion rings, the burger and the catfish were all great dishes and clearly the cole slaw and hush puppies are made onsite and the catfish hand breaded. The burger was great tasting and thick, cooked correctly and not overdone as burgers often are. Allysa provided great service too! We'll be back.

Ate here on a Saturday evening. Had fried fish platter, and the ribeye. Delish! The home made ranch dressing is wonderful, on a very fresh and plentiful salad. The rest of the he food was well worth the trip. Jennifer (owner/server) is so freindly and welcoming. Well definitely be back!
